| Congratulations on your engagement. We hope it will be the start of a beautiful and harmonious life together and that we can help make your wedding everything you always hoped it would be. Lets start by telling you a little about Interfaith Clergy. We are a group of more than 50 rabbis, priests and ministers who conduct Jewish, Catholic, Protestant and Interfaith marriage ceremonies. (We also officiate at other religious ceremonies including namings, baptisms, bar/bat mitzvahs and funerals.) Most of our Jewish clergy have retired from their congregational duties; some of our Christian clergy have retired, while others are still working in their parishes. We came together more than 20 years ago because we all share a common belief -- that love and marriage should be celebrated and blessed. We also feel its important to have a religious, spiritual connection. If youve contacted us, you probably agree. We can create a ceremony that celebrates your love and union -- that reflects your unique traditions and your similarities. Since weve worked together for so many years., we are all very knowledgeable and sensitive to each others traditions. Youll find we are Judeo-Christian in our thinking. We honor both the old testament and the new and believe there is a richness in our traditions that can strengthen your marriage. Weddings are joyous celebrations where two individuals unite to become one by the religious and spiritual rite of matrimony. For couples of different religious backgrounds, having to incorporate selected aspects of each religion’s tradition and find clergy willing to participate in a multi-denominational or multi-faith wedding ceremony can be difficult. Providing spiritual guidance and assistance to couples seeking to wed in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York, the Interfaith Clergy can help. Whether seeking a New Jersey rabbi, New York minister, or some other type of denominational clergy, the Interfaith Clergy is able to provide couples with multi-faith wedding ceremonies. For couples needing a New Jersey priest and rabbi at the same time, the Interfaith Clergy has over 50 rabbis, priests and ministers available to conduct Jewish, Catholic, Protestant and Interfaith wedding ceremonies. All clergy, regardless of denomination have been ordained and are either presently working in a parish or have retired. Founded over 20 years ago, each New Jersey minister, New York rabbi and other clergy member has come together to share the common belief that marriage should be celebrated and blessed. Clergy at Interfaith Clergy also feel it is important for couples to have a religious and spiritual connection. While weddings are just the start of a couple’s life together, the Interfaith Clergy also provides religious and spiritual officiating services for multiple life events. Whether needing a New York priest, rabbi or minister for baptisms, naming ceremonies, bar/bat mitzvahs or funerals, the Interfaith Clergy is able to professionally officiate at any of these events. Celebrating an Interfaith wedding ceremony incorporates aspects of both parties’ religions. With over 20 years of experience, the Interfaith Clergy are experts in conducting a professional religious ceremony honoring beliefs and traditions important to the bride and groom. To see a sample Interfaith ceremony, the Interfaith Clergy has posted a sample Judeo-Christian wedding ritual outline on their website here. Working closely with couples, the Interfaith Clergy is able to create a wedding ceremony that celebrates a couple’s love and unity; while respecting religious customs and long-standing beliefs. To contact the Interfaith Clergy and see how they can be an asset to your next Interfaith wedding or other multi-faith religious event, please call (908) 232- 3738 (in New Jersey) or (877) 779-0017 (outside of New Jersey).
